Welcome to Peaceful Beginnings
A space to allow ALL to grow
My style of working is to offer the FULL CIRCLE of courses for parents and teachers 0-6 years. Its never to early or late to join the journey.
My journey started about 8 years ago when I was given the greatest gift. I was a kindergarten teacher and I had just moved to Pukekohe with my family. I wanted to discover more about my philosophy to teaching. Little did I know that the centre that I had come from in Panmure had given me all the answers already. LOVE and RELATIONSHIPS.
Anyway, I was gifted the opportunity to start in their infant room....... I FREAKED out as I really wasn't an infant teacher, but who knew that this would be the gift of my career . I was what I now call a bottom-of-the-circle teacher, I was different to the other teachers but I WASN'T LESS, something I want ALL teachers to HOLD onto. Their amazing worth. With top and bottom its about learning to be the full circle and for me, I really had to work at finding that stillness and inner peace, as my observational skills grew.
I was introduced to Kimberley Crisp and Pennie Brownlee and took all of their courses, including becoming one of Pennie's parent/infant and parent/toddler facilitators.
I set up Peaceful Beginnings originally because I could see that if parents were guided where to look, they would have the KEY to societal change for our children.
